Monetary

Your donation helps to cover the costs of rescuing abused, abandoned and neglected animals. We primarily rescue dogs, but will never turn away a request to rescue any animal if we are in the position to offer help.

Donations are used to pay for medicines, medical supplies, vet care, food, beds, puppy pads, transportation and any other need our rescues may have.

By operating as volunteers, we are able to use every penny donated to save even more lives.

You can donate by:
— Gifting in person at one of our events
— Mailing to:
PO BOX 370, Earl, NC 28038
–Sending directly from your paypal to ours or by clicking on the Donate button below to use your debit or credit card.

Sponsor a dog

By sponsoring the expense of bringing a foster dog to an adoptable state you are saving countless lives by freeing up funds for C.A.R.E. to rescue even more abused, neglected or abandoned dogs.

In cases where a rescue needs extended medical care or surgery, we will post the amount that we have been given by the vet.

Every single Sponsorship penny you are able to give,  helps with medical bills that are inevitable for each foster.  Every dog at minimum, leaves C.A.R.E. spayed/neutered, current on vaccines and if needed, heartworm preventive before being placed for adoption.

While each dog that comes to C.A.R.E. receives the above listed care, each dog’s needs vary. We appreciate any amount that you are willing to help us with.

Monthly Giving

Supporting our efforts to save lives is a passion for many and critical for us to continue to rescue animals.

Not everyone is able to foster or volunteer so choosing to give a monthly, tax deductible donation is another way to save lives.

Ongoing, promised, monthly donations allow us to know that we have a baseline of funds available to cover the expense of rescuing and caring for these special furbabies until forever homes can be found.

Having a baseline also means that when other forms of donations come in, we are able to save even more lives!

We are grateful for your generosity and your desire to help us save the lives of rescued animals that have been abused, neglected and abandoned.

Donation Jars

Whether you collect for a short period of time or year round, your efforts are helping to save the lives of rescued, abused or abandoned dogs.

  • Classrooms can collect pennies
  • Offices/Factories can place jars in break room
  • Stores can place jars on counter
  • Keep one in your car
  • Families can collect pennies year round
  • Organizations can collect at meetings
  • School Groups can collect as a project
  • Outside Concession Stands /Food Stands
  • “Swear Jars”

Let us know if you would like a flyer for your jar. Or if you need a jar.

We can not say thank you enough for your desire to help. Together, we are saving lives.

Corporate Matching

Many businesses and corporations offer their employees the option of withholding an amount from paychecks for charity donations.

With that, many also offer an employee donation match which can sometimes be as much as 200%.

Ask your HR department to see if your company offers this option or if they would consider beginning one. Most businesses have community giving plans/corporate responsibility goals and are open to options.

Giving to local organizations keeps your dollars local. We use local vets, buy our gas for transport, buy food for long trips, pay local groomers,  pay kennels when needed and so much more.

C.A.R.E. is a registered 501c3 organization and we can provide any information you need to implement this at your work.

Donate Appliances

It’s no secret that we have a thing for broken, neglected, used and abused around here.

Replacing your appliances usually brings the hassle of finding a way to dispose of the old ones.

Consider donating your old appliances to C.A.R.E..

Not only will it clear space for you, it’s tax deductible AND you’re helping to save the lives of the many neglected, abused and abandoned animals in our area.

We will take your old, broken appliances and turn them into money to use for the care of the rescued animals we save. If you are not able to bring them to us, we will make arrangements to pick up.

Washing Machines, Clothes Dryers, Stoves, Refrigerators, Dishwashers, Heating/ Air Units, Furnaces, Air Conditioners

Daily needs

Monetary donations are not for everyone. Some people prefer to give items that are needed instead.  Others have items lying around that are in great condition that can be repurposed.

We are happy to receive any assistance in our efforts to save lives.

Consumables such as crates, dog beds, feeding bottles, food, medical supplies, puppy pads, blankets, towels, leashes, collars and safe toys to name a few.

Office Supplies such as paper, envelopes, stamps, photo paper, ink and file folders.

Attend our Fundraisers

FUNdraising Events are our best tool for raising awareness of the dire needs of our local, abused, neglected and abandoned dogs and other animals.

We also take the opportunity to promote the importance of spaying and neutering to prevent growing the population of the already, many lives at risk.

It’s not all doom and gloom, we have fun!

Most of our events offer a showcase, photo opportunity with either Santa, the Easter Bunny, Kissing Booth with adoptable dogs or our mascot Clifford.

Peruse tables filled with unique pet products, free coloring pages, fundraising decals, shirts and even a bake sale.

And of course, you will not leave without hearing amazing success stories of the many lives we have been able to save, continue to save, and plan to save. (all)

We do not have a physical shelter.  YET!

We operate through our foster homes, online databases and at adoption events.

We also serve our community and adopters by educating and encouraging responsible pet ownership with an emphasis on the need for spaying and neutering to decrease the ongoing pet overpopulation issue.
