We will have some wonderful baked goods made by some of the best bakers around. A great way to have an awesome dessert for Christmas without having to do all the work We are extremely grateful to all those who were so kind to contribute to our baked goods auction. We could not do what we do without you. We will also announce the winning baker and the gift basket after the auction Happy Bidding and Merry Christmas.

Come join us for one of the most impressionable events of the holiday season. We will start with a pet n’sip where you can meet some of the adoptable CARE doggies. You will also hear the amazing Trace Casanova live! If you have never heard Trace, you are going to be impressed by this young man. He will be doing some songs for the season too. After the pet n’ sip, we will read all the animals who had lights purchased for them. We will turn on each color after the reading. White lights are for those beloved companion animals that have passed. Red lights are for those who still brighten our day and are with us. Blue lights are for those still hunting their forever home. Once all lights are read, the tree will be completely lit.
Following the lighting we will have the blessing of the animals. You may bring your animals to the blessing and will be glad you did. It is a one of a kind ceremony.

Merry Christmas from C.A.R.E. Bring your companion animals and get them chipped for $10! Best way to make sure your animals get back home if they would ever get lost. Do not take the chance of not being able to find them. This rate is lower than normal as our way to try to help the community be able to chip their animals. Dr. Brandi Bumgardner has graciously agreed to help us once again during the clinic.
We will be doing a drive through clinic. Please make sure to enter at the entrance closer to Crest High School ( Exit is the one closer to highway 150) We will come to you once you pull up so no need to get out of your vehicle.
Please spread the word and lets get the animals in the county chipped!

Come join us for a live auction with unique items including some pieces of Cleveland County history. As many of you know, we were blessed with a donor who made it possible for us to purchase the Earl Owensby Studio. For those who may not be familiar with the location and the story, Mr. Owensby brought Hollywood to the Carolinas. When he started his business, all movies were made in California. He changed all that and became very successful at producing movies.
Founded in 1974, the studio and Mr Owensby thrived and many of his employees continue to thrive in the industry to this day with other companies. A link below will give those who are unfamiliar with him more details.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earl_Owensby_Studios
Proceeds from the auction will go into our building fund to help restore the property. While the buildings may not hold studio sets, and produce movies, those same buildings can be used to make Clifford’s Army Rescue’s dreams come true to help even more animals in need along with providing other animal related services for the community.
Along with items related to E.O. Studios, there will be unrelated but unique items that may interest you. There is a $5 bidding fee when you register. The auction will be at Dragonfly Wine Market, Monday November 11th. Registration will start at 6 pm with the actual auction beginning at 7pm.
We will be posting some of the things that will be up for auction on this event page so be sure to share and invite your friends.
Hope to see you there.
